Gender transcends clothes and clothing. For years, most Africans and indeed most people across the world have wrongly attached a particular mode or style of dressing to a particular gender. For example, a woman is expected to be in skirts while a man is expected to be in trousers. This artwork turns that narrative on its head by imagining a male tennis player in skirts. Basically, the piece asks what is wrong in a man wearing a skirt if that's really what he wants?
