Carline was born to a family of nobility in a small kingdom in the heart of a continent beset by war. Though her parents loved her, they both died when she was young, leaving her in the care of her grandparents. When she was old enough, she was sent to train at a nearby Paladin academy where she excelled in her studies and quickly rose to become one of the top students. When she graduated, she immediately set out to make a name for herself as a Paladin. She quickly became known for her skill in battle and her unwavering sense of justice. She fought against many evil forces that threatened her kingdom and others, always managing to come out victorious. Her great deeds earned her the respect and admiration of many people, both inside and outside of her kingdom. As she grew older, Carline became more and more renowned as a Paladin. She took on dangerous quests and completed them with ease, always putting others before herself. She even managed to find and defeat the deadliest of foes: dragons. Her legend eventually grew so large that people began referring to her as the "Dragon slayer". One day, Carline was confronted with an enemy that was too powerful for even her to defeat: an evil sorcerer who had declared war on all kingdoms. This sorcerer had managed to amass an army of monsters that even the strongest warriors could not hope to defeat. Carline knew that this sorcerer had to be stopped before he destroyed everything she held dear. She gathered together all of the Paladins in the land and led them into battle against the sorcerer's army. In a spectacular battle, they were finally able to triumph and Carline slew the sorcerer himself. With peace restored to the land once again, Carline rode off into the sunset, content knowing that she had made a difference in the world.
