For me there was a balance between the majestic edges of the mountain and dancing clouds reaching toward the heavens. The small star shaped flare of an electric lamp asserts itself in the immensity of the environment. I am humbled by this space between moments and the greatness of the landscape. Ma uka Lani can be translated from Hawaiian to mean « Mountain Heaven «

Hawaii is known for its natural splendor and bright tropical colors, however I was interested in a different view. I wanted to see what I couldn't see everyday, the spirit of the Islands so to speak. For months I would explore the East of Oahu at night to experience the language of moonlight and discover a powerful silent presence. From a series called LAND SEA MOON
