Isabelle was born to a humble family of farmers just outside of the kingdom's capital. When she was just five years old, her parents were killed by a group of bandits who raided their farmhouse in the night. Isabelle was the only one to survive, and she was taken in by the local blacksmith who had lost his own son the year before. The blacksmith took Isabelle under his wing, teaching her how to defend herself and how to fight. As Isabelle grew older, she became increasingly skilled in combat. She would often enter fighting tournaments in the nearby town, and more often than not, she would come out victorious. It was clear that Isabelle had a talent for fighting, and people started to take notice. Eventually, Isabelle's reputation as a skilled fighter reached the ears of the king himself. He summoned her to his palace and offered her a position in his royal guard. Isabelle accepted, and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the most celebrated soldiers in the kingdom. Throughout her career, Isabelle has fought countless battles and vanquished many foes. She is known for her strength, her skill with a sword, and her unyielding determination. In recent years, she has taken on more of a leadership role among the king's guard, mentoring some of the newer recruits. Though she has seen many atrocities during her time as a soldier, Isabelle remains optimistic about the future. She firmly believes that as long as there are people like her who are willing to fight for what is right, then there is hope for this world yet.
