The Collector knew that he had to act fast if he wanted to keep the relic and stay ahead of his competitors. He gathered his team and devised a plan to make a run for the nearest jump gate, hoping to escape the planet before anyone else could catch up to them. However, as they made their way to the jump gate, they were ambushed by the unknown group that had contacted the GM Union. The group had been tracking the Collector's ship and had managed to intercept them before they could escape. A fierce battle ensued, with laser beams and plasma bolts flying in every direction. The Collector's team fought bravely, but they were outnumbered and outgunned. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a bright light enveloped the battlefield, and the combatants were teleported away to an unknown location. When the light dissipated, the Collector found himself face to face with the Degen Master himself. The ancient being towered over him, his eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy.
