The party began winding down into the wee hours of the morning. All of the drunk Apepes went home to get some rest & to sleep off these serum hangovers. In the morning, everything seemed to be normal as usual, until the first of the Apepes began to showcase unusual symptoms.
First, their minds seemed to shut off. Then a hunger for blood started to grow, and twisted physical manifestations started to emerge from their froggy skin.
Some started to grow hundreds of eyes, others spawned spikes, and living tentacles with razor sharp teeth from their limbs and torsos.
All with a unified blood lust to consume pure Apepe flesh, the freshly spawned zombies started to search for non-infected Apepes to feast on.
