The Abuja National Mosque, also known as the Nigerian National Mosque, is the national mosque of Nigeria.
It was built in 1984 and is open to the non-Muslim public, except during congregational prayers.
It is an incredible religious structure, the mosque has an imposing gilt-domed structure with four towering minarets.
The modern structure dominates the landscape with its 60m (192 ft) wide dome surrounded by 120m (394 ft) tall minarets.
Sloped exterior walls and caligraphy tiles next to the entrance gate give way to ornate crimson and gold carpets covering the floor of the mosque.
Abuja is the power seat where national legislative and judicial systems takes place.
