Until now, Seattle rapper, producer, cartoonist, etc. J’von had quietly stepped away from releasing music, though still recording & practicing everyday. With the successful release of Loser Club, an NFT art project designed by the man himself, he has found himself drawing more, whilst obtaining more resources than ever to really push his creative mind further. But what does he have to say? Exactly how much of himself does he have available to give now?
“BOOK” is a rap song, where j’von discusses the past, the present, and the future of who he is & is destined to be. Esotericism ensued, where only a select few will be able to resonate with his messages. j’von speaks of his bouts with depression, identity, relevance, and sabotage, but with such a slyness, who would really know?
