Everyone is the star of their own story, but no story only has a single character to it. There are always outside forces influencing and inspiring and oftentimes those forces are other people. Who you meet and when in your journey you meet them plays a large role in how you develop. Without their input into your life certain opinions couldn't form or requirements for key experiences to happen wouldn't be met. It's true that ultimately the driving force in your life is you, but the people you have around you are just as important because they contribute to you becoming who you are.
