MetaMandalas explores desire through the four elements. Each piece in the series is a unique interpretation of the traditional mandala, featuring intricate patterns and bold colors that suggest a cosmic landscape.
A meta-perspective is a way of looking at things that is not just from the surface, but from the perspective of all the different levels of understanding that make up the thing itself. In other words, you are not just looking at the object or thing, but also the way in which you are looking at it.
The project consists of densely packed MetaMandalas, each representing an element: fire, earth, air, and water. The project invites viewers to contemplate their own desires and the role they play in their lives.
