'Dead End' is the second piece in The Displaced and Voiceless collection. I actually got the inspiration for this piece when I saw a yellow crowned night heron land right next to a dead end sign in my neighborhood. I loved the juxtaposition of a beautiful bird next to a man made sign. I felt like I was meant to be there at that exact moment to see it. These are some of the most common animals, and due to human nature, precisely because of their perceived lack of rarity, this often results in a perceived lack of value.
