Title: "1 Pixel Art RGB+CMYK"
The purpose of presenting this work is to showcase the idea and invention that emerged from exploring art unique to the digital realm. In art history, it raises the question of whether a 1-pixel impressionist painting can be called a painting or even considered art. Just as Duchamp introduced a urinal as art, I bring forth the 1-pixel, the smallest unit in the digital world. Within this pixel, I have connected the principles of color—RGB and CMYK—with my own impressions. There are a total of 15 pieces in this collection, each representing a single color.
The price set for this minimalistic 1-pixel piece may seem exorbitant, but I believe it is fitting for the dawn of "Pixelism." Should these works be traded, they will undoubtedly mark a new chapter in art history. This is, in essence, an experiment.
Supplementary Information:
To anyone who purchases these pieces as art, I would like to say, "Your aesthetic judgment is the coolest in the art world!"
Title: "Nothingness"
This work is even more special. It represents the concept of "Nothingness" as understood in Buddhism. This is an expression that can only exist in the digital world and would not be possible in the real world. Why? Because when you try to view this work, "there is nothing there." However, its existence as a piece of art is undeniable. In other words, this work represents the "concept" of "Nothingness." And this piece is tradable. Only those who can grasp this meaning are worthy of owning the work "Nothingness."
It is the ultimate concept.
