Penelope was born to a family of fairies who resided in the forest outside of a small medieval town. When she was five, her parents were tragically killed by a hunter who stumbled upon their home. Fortunately, one of the other fairies took her in and raised her as her own. From a young age, Penelope showed great aptitude for magic. She quickly learned how to cast spells and make potions. As she grew older, she became more and more powerful. When she was sixteen, Penelope decided to wander out into the world and see what adventures awaited her. After several months of travel, she met a group of fellow adventurers who convinced her to join them on their quest to vanquish an evil sorcerer who had been terrorizing the kingdom. After defeating the sorcerer and saving the kingdom, Penelope became known as one of the greatest heroes of her generation. Penelope continued to adventure with her friends for many years, until one day they confronted a dragon who proved too much for even their combined might. In the end, Penelope sacrificed herself to save her friends, becoming one of the few people ever to defeat a dragon in single combat. Her heroic deed was sung about by bards across the land, ensuring that her legend would live on long after her death.
