One of five digital editions.
Original piece is 24 by 36 inches on canvas, executed with oil paint on white acrylic gesso. Piece was completed on July 24th in Tribeca NY at 373 Broadway studio 2B. This piece was one of the last works completed at that location, and marked the winding down of the first wave of works completed in 2024. This series is marked by a strict use of black and white across all works, with very spare use of gray and subtle blue and green hues. Some of these works due to an abundant use of oxidizing mediums will develop yellow and brown marks resembling cigarette burns, due to an oxidizing effect from lack of sunlight. Therefore, these digital image captures are the only existing evidence that any of these works were ever truly "Black and White".
