This image represents the seven physical "node" sculptures of varying sizes and hues included in the Mushroom Cloud project. This image represents a node floating in Caribbean-blue resin, referencing the original location of the Mushroom Cloud AR in Miami Beach, FL acknowledging the precarious future of Miami and other coastal cities threatened by rising seas. At the center of each cube, a single, pearlescent ‘spore’ is suspended, representing the collector’s role in supporting and ‘germinating’ a personal mycelium structure and making a meaningful contribution to the construction of an interactive community.
