Behind the husband's back and in parallel with the aforementioned painting, hangs a work that represents a great laugh. At the back of the scene there is a golden mannequin as a symbol of machismo, to her right, a girl with a covered face, observes a bust of Voltaire. To the left on the sofa two monkeys represent morality in scandalized attitude.
