OMGjazzer #37 Storyline: Envy, OMG Ninja's evil brother, had been plotting against his brother for years. Since childhood, he was always jealous of his brother's natural talents and abilities. His jealousy grew so intense that he turned to the dark arts of OMG Combat in search of greater power. After years of secretly training and perfecting his skills, Envy returned. Summoning a portal to locate his brother, he was surprised to find him training two young ninjas, Ying and Yang. The evil ninja saw an opportunity to turn the two young disciples to the dark side by offering them powers greater than anything his brother could ever teach them… About the music: “Envy” is a jazz electronica (jazztronica) track featuring saxophone. It is an ominous, mysterious & dark composition that explores the drive to pursue what others have out of spite. There is a mystic aspect to the composition that elicits a sense of wonder. When the drums kick in with its mix of traditional electronic sounds and eastern percussion we begin to really flow. One of six tracks in a 6-part EP, “Envy” brings darkness to the light.
