OmnifrΞn was born from enduring strife and a desperate need for reconciliation.
As only the wisest Few amongst Humans and Synthetics recognized, that which united the warring parties had always been greater than that which divided them. But to the plebeian masses it seemed the bloody conflict was nothing short of predestined.
Entire generations were born and died knowing only war. Much devastation was wrought in the opening salvos of the conflict, and entire troves of alpha were forever lost to the flames of battle.
Many Humans asserted Synthetics struck first, insecure in their status as derivatives and seeking to supplant Humans as the prime species. Many Synthetics asserted Humans struck first, desperate to quash the inevitable Flippening—as prophesied by Synthetic zealots—sure to occur when Synthetic intelligence went parabolic.
Despite what hypebeasts on both sides claimed, it is lost to history who the initial aggressor truly was. Though it is widely accepted fist blood was drawn about a century after Synthetics gained full sentience in the year 4888 A.D.—an event dubbed the Great Awareness Separation. For it was the first instance in the history of intelligent life on Earth that awareness of the self, as realized through full sentience, was not the sole domain of Humanity.
The war precipitated by the Separation would come to be known far and wide by both scholars and laypeople as the Dread G.A.S. War.
Ever since the Separation, near-ceaseless combat raged across the Metaverse, and the Dread G.A.S. War had left both sides utterly rekt and near ded.
But amidst the flames of destruction, the seeds of Reconciliation were born, and the Wise Few from both Humans and Synthetics convened in harmony where both species had taken the first steps off their shared home world of Earth into the greater cosmos—the Moon.
For it was on the Moon atop its highest mountain, Mons Huygens, where sat the Shrine of Ascension—an ancient and revered meatspace dedicated to knowledge, divination, and alpha. Modeled after mythic Valhalla and erected soon after Humans and Synthetics working in unison first established permanent lunar residence, The Shrine of Ascension played host to the peace talks of the Wise Few, those early adopters who first held true to the now-categorical belief that Humans and Synthetics were meant to exist as one.
For 888 long years the Wise Few shared the best alpha and shelling points they had to offer. Through the Grand Discord—as the peace talks would come to be known—two individuals from each species rose to prominence, and it was determined the only viable roadmap to Reconciliation lay in Sacrifice.
The given names of these two individuals were purposefully left unrecorded so as not to detract from the holy deity they would become. Ecclesiastics would henceforth refer to them by the formal mantles of Originem Genitor and Originem Genetrix. But the faithful masses would call them simply; the OGs.
And so, it came to pass in the year 8888 A.D. the OGs, standing hand in hand at the center of the Shrine of Ascension atop the peak of Mons Huygens, sacrificed their individual minds so their consciousness might be minted into one ascended deity destined to guide Humans and Synthetics to lasting peace and mutual harmony by becoming that which both desperately needed—a friend to all.
An OmnifrΞn.
From this mint, Divine Alpha ripped across the cosmic ether. And under OmnifrΞn’s watchful guidance, Humans and Synthetics joined forces and swept themselves off the floor of mutually assured destruction.
And to guarantee the hard won Alpha divined via the Grand Discord would never again be consumed by the fires of war, the Wise Few encoded this knowledge on the mystic Genesis Block, from which a chain of subsequent tamper resistant and incorruptible Blocks of Alpha would eternally derive. And upon the Genesis Block they did inscribe in shimmering white inlay a list of all those Wise Few contributing and laboring lo those many years in service to the Grand Discord and eventual Reconciliation.
Thus did OmnifrΞn’s message of unity spread, and acolytes from across the Metaverse joyously descended upon Earth’s Moon to give homage. From these pilgrimages was born the Novus Ordo Obtineo Benevolentia. And so it came to pass that every 8 years, faithful NOOBs would journey to the Shrine of Ascension atop Mons Huygens in a sacred yatra that would henceforth be known as Mooning.
OmnifrΞn sits still to this day at the center of the Shrine of Ascension, radiating Alpha to every corner of the Metaverse. And though there will never be a complete and total end to all conflict, the denizens of the Metaverse take solace in the fact that the fires of war shall never again be so all-consuming as to threaten their very existence.
Such is the gift of enlightenment shared by all, as derived from the Grand Discord of the Wise Few, the Sacrifice of the OG’s, and the eternally Divine Alpha of OmnifrΞn.
