A monstrous wave, a deadly hand,
Eyes wide with terror, hearts aflutter,
As nature's wrath doth swiftly stutter.
The lash of water, fierce and strong,
Devours all, a fearsome throng,
Buildings crumble, lives are lost,
As we pay the price, at nature's cost.
In awe we stand, at the power of the sea,
As it lashes out, with such ferocity,
We bow our heads, in silent prayer,
For those who face the tsunami's glare.
