“Langza” is stunning in its splendor and austere beauty. The scenery is pristine, captivating and nature appears at his best moods. Everything there is of herculean scale. At an imposing altitude of 14,550 feet, the mighty snow-capped trans-Himalayan mountains are spread all around the place from Summer to Winter. An absolute must do thing in Langza is hunt down fossils of prehistoric period marine animals .These fossils, as the locals tell are over a million years old. The village is one of the highest motarable roads and proximity to Tibet in China and population is as low as 33 houses with 137 people still dwelling there, belonging to Sakyapa sect of Tibetian Buddism.
