WNH #Flower 2023-03 No.038 Juniper-Wacholder b In 2022, Wolf Nkole Helzle began experimenting with flowers as part of his "photographic condensations". The first images in the #FLOWERS series were created in early 2023 by photographically illuminating them from different perspectives. He turns to still life with his very own gaze and is always amazed at what he sees. Through his many photographs, which he layers transparently in a later work step, a veritable stillness is created in which the plant shows itself in its wondrous splendour from all its sides at the same time. Helzle's quote: "Looking at something from all sides changes many things. Firstly, of course, the intensity and detail of the observation and, in connection with this, the increase in insights and perspectives. Seeing all angles simultaneously gives birth to wisdom and wisdom is beauty".
