The picture is about the fear of death, which binds and unites people all over the world. It's about a disease of the planet caused by humanity. All World 2021. Oil on canvas. 100x140cm. Moths with the eyes of people of different ages and races and a pale planet represent a complete portrait of a person. The flight of moths is similar to our mutating DNA, it is a symbol of fleeting human life, which leaves an ecological hole in its place. But this is only a moment in the scale of the universe. The idea of the work was born during the first wave of isolation and deaths from Covid-19. Then there was a series of terrible environmental disasters caused by man. Then a new war. The pain that we inflict on ourselves and all living things seems to be an absurd illusion. We observe this through the monitors of our gadgets, turning life into content, losing touch with reality. The whole world is united by the fear. We hurt each other consciously. We are destroying the planet and all life on it. And press the heart on the screen of your phone. The work was marked certificate of recognition of artistic merit from Luxembourg Art Prize 2021.
