This piece is a tribute to my two-year-old daughter’s drawing. A toddler’s scribble is pure, unfiltered, free. To honor this raw expression, I turn to the elegance of mathematics, weaving her chaotic beauty through the fluid arcs of a Cubic Spline. This technique, like an unseen hand, predicts the next gentle curve, mimicking the instinctive, swirling dance of her tiny fingers as they roam across the page. I then present the scribble in a structured grid — an homage to generative art pioneer Vera Molnar, where lines shift and evolve, capturing both spontaneity and order in a delicate interplay.
Then, a moment of wonder: as I show the early output to my daughter, her eyes light up. She exclaims, with pure certainty, “I draw this!”
Art, it seems, recognizes its own.
