A breakdown of the first NFT for the Non Fungible Social Club, founded by Scott Beale. The NFT is titled NFSC 1.0. It is colorful and dynamic and should allow the viewer to discover new things upon each glance. It is a typographic / pictographic combination, using colors that to me evoke a combination of joy and mystery. Here is the symbolism of the elements I’ve included. · Flowers are symbols of beauty, but also represent the fragility of the swift passage of life to death. I relate this to the short life of many NFTs. · The cartoon eyes and halo are Easter eggs to my PFP project - City of Angels · Bird in the background is for the group originating on twitter · The N is a whimsical 3 dimensional shape that brings lightheartedness to the piece · The F is in Old English - it evokes a sense of majesty / royalty, and in turn, exclusivity · The snake is a symbol of mortality, fertility and creativity. In this context, the creativity of the group is highlighted with the serpent, which also is the letter S · The C is a flexed arm and clenched fist - derived from the original fight club reference · Spray painted heart because spray paint is my primary medium and hearts are found often in my work, reinforcing the message of love that I infuse in my street art · The eye is of course the window to the soul and represents intelligence. It is also a symbol of a gateway, which in this context relates to this token being your key to NFSC… JASON NAYLOR
