Description
Diablobster are the result of early nuclear testing off the coast of the most remote atolls of the Aqua Isles. When Schmryptopia acquired atomic weapon technology in the late sixties they detonated two small bombs as a test and a warning. One of these bombs irradiated a recently deposited dumpsite containing thousands of recently-obsolete rotary phones, fusing them with a resident crustacean population. They are fast-reproducing opportunistic omnivores and since their creation they've spread quickly. Decades later their ringing call can be heard on reefs across the shallows of Schmryptopia.
