Description
The night before setting out for a diving excursion in Papua New Guinea, I had my friend Josh Golden over for a session. After making a couple songs, we decided to put our session on a live stream, where I proceeded to produce a few songs that we would freestyle to. I flew out the next morning, and listened back on the flight to all of the songs that we’ve made, and some of them sounded cohesive, sort of like one definitive project. When I got to Indonesia, I began actually writing out the records, and turning them into, a story. I left for the seas of Papua New Guinea a few days later, and while there I finished this project. I always travel with a microphone, and this little EP is evidence of why. Creativity is an elusive animal you have to be prepared to capture.
