I get so excited when the leaves start changing colors in the fall. I notice when the trees are brightly colored and crisp to the touch. I just had to find a place where there was no traffic and very few people so I could concentrate on the loveliness of this season. At this desolate pond behind a neighbor's house, I was able to sit and focus upon transposing this beautiful scenery onto my painter's canvas. No one really even knows about this pond and nature's wonderful landscape here. I spent many days trying to capture this natural beauty without the bright colors being distracting or unreal.
Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Prayer: Father in Your presence there is fullness of joy. Forgive me for all that I have done that is not according to Your will. Keep reminding me that I can find the path of life by being in Your presence. Thank you for filling me with Your supernatural joy and peace and thank you that You correct my path when I stray from the one that You have planned for me, You will show me the path of life! Amen.
