CEREMONIAL #1 Somewhere on the other side of the universe, at this exact moment… The destructive Authority M wages war against the Helios. The Helios, led by Fleet Admiral Goro Flores, are losing ground against Authority M’s superior technology and resources. With the Helios occupied, Authority M scientists finish the lab-grown creatures they call Solglyphs. Under the cover of the Great Eclipse, Authority M starts to transport Solglyphs to the remaining pacifist planets on the outskirts of the galaxy... ***************************** PLANET VARDOUR. KIRRIN CROW’S THIRD DAY AT HIS NEW JOB. Kirrin Crow returns from lunch and notices his boss and several co-workers missing. Solglyphs stand over half-eaten bodies. Kirrin flees. Kirrin is disoriented. More Solglyphs appear. Amidst the confusion, Kirrin runs into a childhood friend, Nandor. Kirrin and Nandor attempt to contact their families. Nandor accidentally kills a baby Solglyph. Hunted by two adult Solglyphs, Kirrin and Nan hide out in the music room of their old elementary school. They collapse from stress and exhaustion. Kirrin wakes up, realizing there has been no response from his family. Authority M is jamming the entire planet’s communications. Kirrin leaves Nan and starts running towards the hills, where his home is. Geez- you were hoping he had some special skill that could just magically save the day? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but how are watching movies and taking long walks on the beach going to help this situation? HAHAHA just kidding. I’m up here sipping Orange Caesars and smashing up Virtual Gardens. You’re down there...you know, running around in the dark, not knowing if (ahem, WHEN) your life will be fucking ended by one of those creatures. Wow, that would be annoying. I haven’t seen much of these Glyphs before, but they seem to function like Nova Ribbing Traps. Except with feet. BUT they also have mouths like giant candles so at least you should spot them from far away. But you aren’t even thinking of that, are you? You’re just running like an idiot. Forrest-Fucking-Distressed-Gump. Okay buddy, I’m off to try this new V-Garden. Not that you would care, even if you knew what I was talking about. I hope you find your family.
