This genesis piece of the collection was originally created for the live dance performance we exclusively presented at the Main Stage of NFC Summit 2024. This piece is created as a bridge between the physical dance and the digital representation of the movement.
“Weighted Whispers" portrays how constant criticism and judgment during one's formative years can accumulate and become internalized, undermining the individual's growth and self-esteem. It captures the nearly universal experience of grappling with internalized self-doubt as part of the journey into adulthood.
