Description
Spatial patterns unfolding over time, complexity emerging from simple rules and algorithms, and fleeting moments perpetually repeating; these are the defining elements of each of the hundred animated loops comprising SPACE\TIME.
The code that brought these animations to life was allowed to grow organically, unbound by good coding practices, resulting in a fertile substrate for serendipity. Each iteration was uniquely crafted, for no two were generated using the same code, lending the series an artisanal touch rather than a meticulously curated one. This creative journey spanned three months, traversing diverse locales such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Valencia, and the French countryside. As the series evolved, each place left its imprint on the code and its artistic outputs.
The elongated timeframe in which this series took shape transformed the creative process into a meditative experience. Returning to the code to create new iterations became a cherished ritual, offering a sanctuary for creativity.
