Drop description:
The author has always been inspired by horror/sci-fi, mixing it with the animation and illustrative stylings of the 1930s rubber-hose animations. He wanted to combine many of my well-known ‘Waxbones-tropes’ to create a gnarly but loveable Chiko model.
He wanted to do art toys for a long time, and combining that with AR that is something that he has included in a lot of my pieces to date, felt like a really great opportunity to push my craft and to combine 2D ideas with 3D modeling.
Artist bio:
Waxbones a UK-based artist juxtaposing the whimsical with the macabre. He has been creating NFTs since the beginning of 2021 and has since released and sold out many editions, collaborated with some of the best artists in the space, and recently launched Prometheus Lab – an art-driven, narrative-focussed, generative project with a uniques minting experience that puts NFT customization in the hands of the collectors.
