Description
"What curse is this to remember how it should feel to live, only to be forced back into the grave of monotony after the feeling fades?"
Captured in a single shot deep in an underground cenote in the Yucatan, there was only 12 minutes of sunlight beaming through a hole in the cavern above. For that brief period the dark water below became a vibrant blue as the light pierced it, giving us just enough time to scramble into place with our vision and find serenity amidst the chaos. The time of day, time of year, positioning and weather had to be just right for this shot to come together.
