Born out of curiosity after finding something novel in the mundane and familiar, Flickerland is a typological series that documents the beauty of the light that was once the most commonly used to illuminate our indoor world but is now falling into obsolescence; fluorescents. For numerous reasons some lights flicker at frequencies that can’t be seen but can be photographed. The differences in each fixture’s characteristics proving that something extra can be found in the ordinary.
