After signing a six-year, $113 million contract with the San Francisco Giants, South Korean superstar Jung Hoo Lee collected his first MLB hit by lining a two-out single to center in the top of the fifth. The Giants would go on to drop their season opener to the Padres 6-4.
Before joining the Giants, the 25-year-old Lee spent the last seven seasons with the Kiwoom Heroes and was considered one of the greatest players in KBO League history.
