Description

In the dead of night, the chaos of the wyrm was at its strongest. Ghosts and ghouls crept about, and demons slunk through the land, able to take physical form in the absence of sunlight. While angels slept, the bifrost bridge between the mortal and higher realms of elysia was accessible to the spirits of the world, letting them across to visit the land of the living. While elysians traditionally collectively worshipped the angels, individual elysians would also pray to the spirits of those who were important to them, typically friends and family members. Small offerings were made to these spirits much in the same manner as done during prayers to the angels. When night had fallen and elysians were heading to bed, they’d pray to the ghosts of friends and family past who’d watch over them while they slept.
