Description
Artist Recycle Group. A new series of works by Recycle Group break down the process of recycling by transforming garbage into a piece of art. Used plastic bottles become artworks with the help of Augmented Reality (AR). Through the Recycle Group app an AR object appears over the artwork in a 360 degree panoramic live mirror called Sphere 0.0. The artwork is installed by the artists virtually at the 0.0 coordinates, the intersection of prime meridian and equator in the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean. It symbolizes the final destination for all garbage, whether a particle of dust or a plastic bottle. However, with this project the garbage is extracted to become a museum piece.
