BATZ FOREVER [Paper Pepedenza #1 Gallery Meme]
On January 7th, 2023 - the artwork Pepedenza #1 was purchased via auction for 19.8 ETH, or just over $25,000 USD at the time. The artist, Batz, has recently rocketed to cult popularity. It's an incredible moment, and it inspired me to visually explore the edges of the meme, imagining how this artwork might be appreciated in the future, possibly generations later.
How will the meme stand the test of time?
We shall see, but for now, here’s to the meme.
