CP1919 is a digital audiovisual project that draws on artist Peter Saville’s iconic Joy Division Unknown Pleasures album cover. These digital artworks include newly recorded sound combining samples from archival Joy Division recordings and the radio signature of the CP1919.
CP1919: Sweeping Sun White 2023 is an open edition artwork (NFT) featuring a monochromatic white moving artwork by Peter Saville and new audio from the Joy Division Archive, including previously unreleased vocals.
