This token is part of the Battle of Waterloo series which consists of 20 tokens which when read in correct order describe the Battle of Waterloo and the events surrounding the battle. Each token consists of artwork showing the events of the battle and text which explains the artwork and which when read in order provides an introduction to the Battle of Waterloo. The tokens are educational and if placed on the internet will educate others about the battle. The Battle of Waterloo is one of the most important battles in history as it brought to an end the Napoleonic wars and began a period of peace in Europe.It also involved two of history’s best generals in Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington and brought to an end the career of Napoleon Bonaparte.
