Description
During a family trip to Viareggio, a town overlooking the Italian seaside, I took this photo which shows a striking contrast between a green algae-covered tree trunk on the beach and a dark cloudy sky. I wanted to capture the atmosphere, so I made a hand-held triple exposure and merged the images to recreate the scene's mood. I had to be quick because my son was cold and urged already for a hot chocolate.
