Description
Quiet on the porch, I watch the hummingbird dart from flower to flower. Its wings beat so fast reverberating, they create a soft hum in the air. It is a marvel of nature, a tiny jewel that sparkles in the sun. It sips a dose of nectar from the blossoms, unaware of my presence. I get a surge of wonder and enlightenment, almost paradoxical, as if I have been granted a glimpse of something sacred.
The hummingbird flies high, leaving me in a sense of awe. I look around and see the beauty within nature everywhere. The flowers are vibrant and fragrant, the grass is green and lush, the trees are tall and majestic. The sky is blue and clear, incredibly vivid, the clouds are white and fluffy, the breeze is so gentle and refreshing.
Nature pervades everything, shimmering heavenly, colors so refreshing, a dose of the nectars of life, a splash of radiance. I feel alive and grateful, as if I have been blessed by the divine.
