Willow was born to a family of herbalists in the small village of Greenlake. When she was five, her parents were killed by a band of marauders. Willow was spared and taken in by the local apothecary, who taught her the ways of herbalism. By the time she was twelve, Willow was an expert in the healing arts. One day, while out gathering herbs, Willow stumbled upon a group of bandits attacking a merchant caravan. She Courageously fought them off using only her knowledge of plants and herbs. The grateful merchants rewarded her with a pouch of gold coins. Willow used this money to buy supplies and set up her own apothecary shop in Greenlake. She quickly gained a reputation for being able to cure any ailment. People from all over the kingdom came to seek her advice and assistance. One day, the king's daughter fell ill with a rare disease that no one could cure. Willow was summoned to the palace to see if she could help. After weeks of searching, she finally found the right combination of herbs that saved the princess's life. As a result of her heroism, Willow was appointed as the Royal Herbalist and given a small cottage on palace grounds. She still lives there to this day, helping those in need with her knowledge of herbalism.
