Description
At first glance from a distance, the lighthouse seemed lonely. Rising from a small outcrop of jagged rock, it was far from the shoreline and the haphazard brickwork gave the impression it had not been cared for in a long time.
Two black birds circled above, then landed on the lighthouse. Through the telescopic lens, I could now see that there were at least 15 of these birds making a living amongst that rocky outcrop. All of a sudden the lighthouse did not seem so lonely.
