Description
Also known as the "White Lady", Kaperosa are faceless female ghosts clad in flowing white robes. They are the restless souls of murdered women who have returned to the mortal realm to seek revenge. Tales of the Kaperosa are ubiquitous - spanning eras and locales - and their stories often involve themes of betrayal, suicide, and unrequited love. The most famous Kaperosa in Filipino folklore are the "White Lady of Loakan Road" and the "White Lady of Balete Drive".
