Description

This is a digital artwork by Amsterdam based artist Def P. Def P became famous as the first rapper in the Dutch language in the late eighties with his controversial rap formation “Osdorp Posse”. During the twenty years he rolled with that group Def P was always the front rapper, writer of the lyrics, but also the graphic designer for all the artwork the band needed. Thousands of fans walked around with his logo’s, albumcovers and graphic designs on T-shirts and sweaters. After thirty years of performing Def P had to stop his career as a performing artist, because he could not agree with the discriminating and audience-dividing covid pass that was imposed on him and his fans. So from the year 2021 Def P is a fulltime graphic designer, illustrator and fine-art painter again. Still a newbie in this NFT-world, but getting there!
