#竜狩りの黒騎士ファネ・ジール卿ジール家は代々「竜狩り」の任務を認められた貴族の名家である。 400年以上前、彼らは「未熟の竜」を討伐する勇敢な戦士の家系であったが、その功績から国内外で名声を高め、王国から認められることによって名家入りしたのである。「始祖の銀竜」の誕生以降、竜の存在が「尊いもの」と変化したのちも、各地に存在した「災厄の竜」を討伐する任を務めていた彼らだが、その家名は次第に衰退していった。その最後の生き残りが「ファネ・ジール卿」である。その巨躯は漆黒のローブに包まれ、青黒く変色した竜の意匠の甲冑には「黄金の装飾」が施されていた。そこには竜の注意を引き寄せ頭部を狙わせるという意図があり、敢えて頭部を狙わせて攻撃を読み、獲物の懐を切り裂いた。まさに「肉を切らせて骨を断つ」その戦いぶりは「刺し違えのジール卿」と恐れられた。仮面にはいくつもの裂傷が残り、最も深いのはウェルドの国の竜「火炎の獣」との死闘時に刻まれたものである。彼は今も人知れず、各地で災厄をもたらす獣を取り憑かれた様に狩り続けているという。 #The Black Knight of the Dragon Slayer / Sir.Phane Ziel The Ziel family has been a distinguished family of nobles recognized for their "Dragon Slayer" duties for generations. More than 400 years ago, they were a family of brave warriors who slayed " Wyrm dragons". Their achievements brought them fame both inside and outside of the country, and they were recognized by the kingdom and became a prominent family. After the birth of the "The Ur-Dragon," the existence of dragons changed to something precious, and they were still in charge of defeating the "dragons of calamity" that existed in various regions, but their family name gradually faded.
