Description
This series of 12 candid photos act as a visual autobiography documenting unassuming encounters and the universal mundanity of everyday life. As a female photographer, I often feel that I have an advantage for more personal moments and vulnerable conversations with those I photograph. This series includes a sex worker in Mexico City, sisters performing at a pool hall in Jamaica, and a man living on Skidrow in LA, life in Detroit, a newspaper salesman in Tepito, and a skinhead sunbathing on the beach.
