Description

The year was 2013, A group of teenagers took a summer job at a black market cannabis grow in Williams, Oregon. The grower offered them a 1992 Honda Civic to drive, $10,000 cash each by December, and as much illicit paraphernalia as they’d like if they stay on the farm. They agreed. The other workers on the farm had all come from Spain. One night, the head grower Chapi dropped off an experimental batch of Dick’s Mega Grow Tea and told Derik to feed all of the plants a single table spoon. Derik forgot, that night while high on acid, the plants told him they wanted a gallon each. “MOOORE DEREK, MOOOORE!” they cried. In secret, he fed all 69 plants a gallon each. He went to bed, only to be awaken an hour later by a twilight earthquake. From his tent he saw a radiant glow take over the hill. He yelled to wake the others, but before anyone could hear him radioactive roots popped out of the ground and forcefully entered the nasal passages of his companions. Puncturing their brains and leaving them lifeless. Derek too was taken. Last. The next morning, 69 of 200 workers on the farm awoke to the horror, feeling itchy and devastated. They barried the others, and continued the season. 2 weeks later, Derik noticed small leaves sprouting from his pours. Needles in his skin, every night. Then a week later, a painful transition took place, his flesh ripped and peeled to unveil a dank, sticky flowery new flesh. Everyone began to transform, panic and desperation ensued. “IF ANYONE FINDS OUT, WE’LL BE SMOKED!” Will the secret get out? Will the FEDs arrive and take them to the dump?
