Throughout my life I have used my accomplishments to protect myself in doing what I wanted to. Every award I received was to justify a part of my existence; the freedom to see friends, explore the world, and understand myself. These achievements laid themselves as protection, where I used my mind and body to protect myself. Only I could see through my achievements, and only I could understand that these accomplishments were not for me.
Carved body parts surround the head leaning outwards on the bottom right of the woodwork. Each piece of carved anatomy provides protection to the head, representing past actions to justify the head's position amongst the limbs and appendages. Jewelry and chains are delicately placed around the head, manifesting as physical rewards held by the actions of the past. The head peers through these awards, wondering how long they'll be needed until peace can be found without them.
