Description
The ferry from Uno to Naoshima was the first ferry I was able to travel on during my time in Japan. The lengthy train ride from Osaka to Uno was full of excitement and anticipation. I couldn't wait to see what the ferry experience in Japan would be like in comparison to other ferries I'd traveled on in other areas of the world.
The trip to and from Naoshima was absolutely incredible. The island itself is famous for very unique art museums, which were a lot of fun to explore. On the way back, the sun was beginning to go down, which provided some really beautiful golden hour light.
As I was exploring the ferry, I went downstairs to the car deck and found one of the Naoshima ferry workers standing by himself, facing the rear of the boat. I quickly, but quietly lined up the focus for the shot, and captured this lovely moment in time.
